VACCINE USAGE: contains Hemophilus B capsular polysaccharide conjugated to meningococcal protein and Hepatitis B surface antigen which elicit antibody production and thereby impart immunity.

VACCINE DOSAGE: Two 0.5 mL doses at 6-wk interval, followed by 3rd dose 8-11 months after 2nd dose. May be used in infants who have received 1 dose of hep B vaccine (recombinant) at birth.
VACCINE INGEDIENTS: yeast (vaccine contains no detectable yeast DNA), nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide, hemin chloride, soy peptone, dextrose, mineral salts, amino acids, formaldehyde, potassium aluminum sulfate, amorphous aluminum hydroxyphosphate sulfate, sodium borate, phenol, ethanol, enzymes, detergent.
ADVERSE VACCINE REACTIONS: irritability, somnolence, crying (unusual, high pitched, prolonged for more than 4 hours), anorexia, vomiting, fever over 103 degrees, diarrhea, upper respiratory infection, rash, rhinorrhea, respiratory congestion, cough, anaphylaxis, angioedema, urticaria, seizures, pruritus, edema, syncope, arthritis.
